A Day out in Daylesford. It's beautiful up there and there's a lot to do in the town, including a browse at the Sunday market. Route:
We'll take the usual route west to Ballan.
We'll refuel in Ballan and then cut west a bit so that we can ride the Spargo Creek Rd through the beautiful forest - new road for me - and then to Daylesford.
New member riders are welcome. This ride is suitable for all Vespa and rider experience. There are some unavoidable 100 kph stretches.
Melbourne Crew. Meet at the usual BP SERVO in Brooklyn, Geelong Road. GOOGLE > MAP Depart at 9 am sharp
We'll get to Ballan at 10.15 am where we can maybe hook up with Geelong riders. We should be in Daylesford before 12 for lunch and a look around town.
Note Daylight Saving cuts in the night before - so adjust your clocks to make sure you're in the right time zone.
I am working on some new roads, so please come along.

I went through Daylesford yesterday, (Sunday), on the way back from the Golden Dragon Rally, it gets mighty busy there, on a Sunday, with the market and all, nice Cidery though ,,,
This ride is postponed - just not enough interest, too many people busy and away, and too much footy.
