Come camping with Noel and Jo in Loch Valley on Saturday 18th of April, then ride up Mt Baw Baw on Sunday 19th! Loch Valley campground is located about 5km north of Noojee and has cleared grass areas and toilet facilities. For those who like the creature comforts, accommodation is available at Neerim South Motel, or a variety of BnB options are located in Noojee.
Meet for breakfast at 9am at Little Red Duck Café.
After breakfast we will depart Noojee for a leisurely ride up Mt Baw Baw for lunch at 12.30pm.
Entry to the National Park is free during green season. Village Central Restaurant on the mountain is open for lunch. RSVP IS REQUIRED TO BOOK A TABLE, PLEASE!
After enjoying lunch and the magnificent views, we will head home about 2pm.
FUEL - fuel availability is limited after Neerim Junction, however following our 2018 inaugural ride, we found filling up at Neerim Junction beforehand gave all riders plenty of fuel for the trip up, and back down Mt Baw Baw. You will need a full tank when you arrive at Noojee, or bring a jerry can!
This ride is suitable for experienced riders only. The roads are winding, narrow and steep at times with frequent 4WD traffic, however the general condition of the road is good. Please take a look at the map before deciding to attend.
Hope to see you there! This event will only be cancelled if the weather gods decide to have a tantrum!
ROUTE TO BE POSTED SOON!

Excellent. Count me in for the April date!
Jo, this is us :)
looking forward to the new dates, & hope we have a free diary then :)
cheers R&S
Noelene, most accommodation in Noojee is Air BnB style, or cabins sleeping 2-6 people. Pub accommodation is available at Yarra Junction (30 mins from Noojee) or Neerim South (15 mins from Noojee) around $80 single.
Sounds like fun. If not camping where else will I stay? The ground is a bit hard for me these days. Cheers
Would probably advise packing up before the ride up the mountain, David.
Camping too. Can we leave our tents at the bottom of the mountain?
Sounds like a great run! Would definitely be up for camping night before
Ooh. Sounds like fun!
