Hi All!

A few Ride changes.

This ride for Friday November 13th will be to to Trentham. With the "Melbourne Steel Wall" due to come down it would be great to see a few Melbourne friends.

The weather forecast is still for 19 degrees and a little cloudy - good riding weather.

I'll lead Geelong/Surfcoast Riders from The Edge. at 10:00. Our route will be via Anakie/Ballan/Blackwood Hills/Trentham. (111 Km).

Others interested will have to make there own arrangements noting that our ETA is Midday in the park opposite the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Lunch options are many and varied; Pub, Beer Garden, Bakery or BYO in the Park.

Cheers

PECKY

Morning Greg. I'm thinking is that we Geelong based guys should be in Ballan at around 11:00 for a break, we could 'hang' for 15 minutes or so and try 'phoning/texting each other. Cheers PECKY

Hi Jeff could you give me an ETA for Bacchus Marsh or Ballan for a possible meet up in the morning?

Jeff, we (the club) has done a few picnic/share/bring a plate lunches in the past they have always been great fun, and inexpensive (and always more food than necessary!)

    Hi Jeff

Take away or BYO picnic in the gardens would be an alternative. Less stress and more relaxed atmosphere where we can all catch up?  That's what we will most likely put up.  Will all depend on the announcement on Sunday also... :)  So fingers crossed.

Jules - Cidery automatically gives you their "Feed-Me" $28/head package for group bookings for 5 or more; as a 'walk up' I think you can make other choices but may not et a seat. I do have an alternate venue in mind in the same area but they not sure on taking bookings at this time.

Hopefully will join the ride but It will depend on whether I have run the bike in by then. Currently restricted to 80-90. I will try to get the kms up by then. Tony

    Hi Jeff

Is there an option of an a la carte menu if you don't want to have to eat a big meal and spend $28?

    Cheers Julie

Sorry, but Mal and I will not be able to attend, as we will be at Philip Island at that time. Enjoy and I hope you have great weather
