Tree Hill Picnic Ground where climbers can stop to admire the view or have a breather.

Arrr... Not us, we will be buzzing in on our Vespas easily, as we are the VCoM riding club.

The name “One Tree Hill” is a bit misleading. The forest was cleared in the 1860s, leaving one solitary tree as a survey marker. Today it's a beautifully forested picnic area, with views towards Melbourne. A perfect place for a Vespa Picnic, pack a sandwich and cuppa in your top box or under your seat, we'll lunch and enjoy the views.

Meeting at the Britannia Mall for a coffee 10am for a 10:30 departure (485 Whitehorse Rd/Maroondah Hwy Mitcham). Usual meeting place.

then in a round about way to Olinda, Monbulk and Kallista, Belgrave and then Tremont (One Tree Hill) for our picnic stop.

Please arrive with a full tank of fuel.

    Thank you Peter for a nice relaxed ride in perfect Autumn weather. A very clever choice of roads made it so pleasant. We could see your brain working overtime to get us through Ringwood and it’s Anzac parade ha ha.

    What a shame as same date as Geelong breakfast. Would have loved to do this ride. Maybe next time.
