Get set for a wonderful long weekend exploring South Gippsland! This ride is over four days, basing ourselves in Meeniyan. Spectacular views of Wilson’s Promontory and great company....... what more could we want?
Meeniyan, a Gippsland Tourism award winning town, is approximately 135kms south east of Melbourne. The name Meeniyan translates in the local indigenous language to “moonlight”. Meeniyan has a strong arts community, with fine art and craft shops, antiques and a vibrant live music scene.
This ride is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders, however if you are just starting out now, there’s plenty of time to join in other club rides and get your skills up! There will be no gravel roads on this ride.
SATURDAY 2ND NOVEMBER

Gippsland members - if you don’t require accommodation you are most welcome to join in the ride on Saturday and Sunday!
We also have an invitation to visit Meeniyan Art Gallery, which is close to our motel! The folks that organise the Meeniyan Garlic festival are aware of our visit and they’re looking forward to seeing us enjoy what the town has to offer!
Well done Jo, looking forward to this great weekend...especially the Prom Cheese Factory as we missed out last time :)
John and Jeff, do you require a double or single accommodation? Please let me know :) Thanks! Jo
Will be great to see you guys, Paul and Judy! Didn’t think you’d need a motel room!
Jo, Judy and I will come for the ride but we don't need accomodation (you can see Meeniyan from our place!)
