https://www.plotaroute.com/route/1163351138kms Here's another route we prepped (thanks to Philip and Luke) a few weeks back on a very windy Saturday afternoon. Still some work to do. Points of interest include Williamstown and Altona foreshore, Werribee River entrance to PFB (Pt Philip Bay), Werribee Mansion, Werribee market gardens (seems like your in blocks of Mildura), open western plains landscape, industrial west and the expansion of the mega DC's (distribution centres), lots of…

Hi,
On May 17, 2020. In Trentham is the Cavalcade of Transport held by the AOMC (association of motoring clubs) as part of National Motoring Heritage Day.
I'd like to arrange a club ride if that would be something of interest.
I'll try and plot out an interesting route to and from the event and include fuel stops.
Any tips or assistance greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Darren
Hi Julie. Unfortunately I'm committed to displaying my scooter at the Maling Road Auto Classica on 20 August along with a few others. Greg mentioned he might join in too.
Hi David
Just having another look at dates..probably a ride on Aug 20 as opposed to 27 would be preferable...if that suits you.
All sounds good David thank you....the dates all seem fine for these rides you have suggested....and yes we could do a short ride after the AGM breakfast if you have any ideas....Pete lucked out for this Sunday as Chris isn't available but I would still like to do a visit that way when it can be organised. The Wimmera ride will take a bit of planning so will have to put my thinking cap on re that one... I have two weeks off in the next schools hols but that looks like it clashes with your ride up to the Mille so I will hold off as I know you would love to do that one...it can always wait til the new year. We are planning on doing the trip to Cambodia/Vietnam around mid January, that will take a lot of planning also as we are country hopping...when I start my 3 working days we will have more time to plan... one more week whoohoo... please feel free to start posting your events... thanks Julie
Hi Julie, I've just run through the events calendar and can see a few spots where we could add some rides.
I'm happy to put on a shortish 90km ride around Hurstbridge on Sunday 27 August (Geelong breakfast day). I also think we could have a short city ride after the AGM on September 10. I can put up the Milk Run Ride for Saturday 18, Sunday 19 November. We could also add in a ride before Christmas hits on Sunday 17 December, again a Geelong breakfast day. This would make a full calendar for the end of 2017.
If the above sounds okay, I'll put them up in the next few days.
I guess the big rides to the volcanos and the silos need to wait until January/February. A while back I posted a suggested off-highway route under Greg's Wimmera post above. Another go at a camping event during the summer months would be great while the weather is warm.
I'll be away from about Sep 23 to Oct 9 riding to the Gold Coast Mille and Rally.
We need some more ideas for rides, would be great if some members could have a go....this page is for you to put up suggestions or ask for help on how to put up an event if you need it..
I think having a Friday off would suit, and it would be great to be able to see all 6 silos after they are completed. This would be a great ride to involve both Bendigo and Geelong members also.
Thoughts from others welcome.
Hi guys
I've put this group up as decided at the last Committee. We can change the name (couldn't remember exactly what was decided) and details to get it right. It is 'open' in that anyone registered can join it.
