Fugue for Dirt Roads Ride - Confirmation

Hi Vespa Adventurers,

I’ve had a few responses for the “Fugue for Dirt Roads” ride planned for next Saturday 30 November. These are the contenders so far:

Michael (providing its not snowing)
Pete (depending on his thumb)
Les might be interested but Saturdays are busy for him
Luke would like to come but is not back until 13 December
James would like to come but will be away

January and February have become so hot these past years that it’s not comfortable to ride. So let’s go ahead with this exciting ride even though there are only six of us.

Departure Details:
Saturday 30 November
Zen Den Cafe, 736 Main Road, Eltham
Please arrive by 9:00am for a 9:30am departure

The weather forecast to date is for light winds, a few showers and a maximum temperature of 18. We probably need to make this ride weather dependent as heavy rain would make some of the tracks um, interesting. So let’s keep an eye out on the forecast.

Please confirm your attendance and remind yourself of the challenges of this ride by re-reading the description here:

 Best wishes, David

Unfortunately can’t make it this Saturday but hopefully next time it goes ahead again..  have a great ride y’all :)

I'm not seeing the 'few showers', I'm only seeing 90% chance of 1 - 10mm of rain. However, think I'll chance it anyway. Because once the mud is up to the floorboards, it's unlikely to sink any further, right?

Well that's a positive outlook Michael. If we can't get up those hills, then we can always make mud pies for lunch. The forecast changes by the day. The showers are now described as 'easing'. I'm hoping the sun symbol on BOM's forecast will peep further out behind those clouds by the time Saturday rolls around. Thanks for your reply, David.

    Sorry David

I too will have to miss this one I have other commitments on that day eg Grand daughters catch up.

Have a thrilling ride everyone, and be safe.

    Cheers Julie
