There’s a good variety of accommodation in Wangaratta across all price ranges. And much of it is right in the centre of town. Enter ‘Wangaratta Accommodation’ into Google Maps to bring up your choices. Don’t forget the excellent Airbnb options around the district too.
Our advice is to book now at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.
Here’s a couple of recommendations.
Quality Hotel Wangaratta 'Gateway’. A top end hotel and we’ll be holding our Gala Dinner in the function area there. If you ring them directly (03) 5721 8399 and mention ‘Vespa’ to them, they’ll give you a 10% discount off your room. Or book online through their booking site, and use the word 'vespa' in the coupon code box.
Pinsent Hotel. Excellent Budget choice. Rooms all have ensuites.
Camping. Painters Island Caravan Park. Your best option for camping because it’s right next to Apex Park and where all the action is. Cabins. Camping is $35 for a powered site, or $30 unpowered. There are two more parks nearby Wangaratta Caravan Park, and the the Big 4 Wangaratta further out at Wangaratta North.
