This is the event for Australian and international club vespisti to get together and celebrate the Vespa motor scooter, meet old friends, make new ones, talk Vespa, and exchange ideas. With the support of the Vespa World Club and Vespa Australia, this rally is being planned with reference to the European tradition of official national Vespa Days events that occur in association with the Vespa World Day event.  The event is for all Vespa - modern, classic, automatic, and geared. If your scooter was sold with a Vespa badge, then this is an event organized for you.

*This is a national event open to all Vespa owners. We would urge you to ticket and book your accommodation as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

This year's venue is the northern rural Victorian town of Wangaratta, chosen for its central location, reasonably priced accommodation, and excellent ride-out opportunities. There's a lot to see in the region on either side of the event too, including the King Valley and Alpine National Park, so it's worth extending your visit into a longer riding tour. Wangaratta tourism pdf. prepared just for you.

Two ride-outs are planned for the Friday afternoon, five on Saturday (including one just for vintage Vespa). On Saturday evening, once again in reference to European tradition, there'll be a Gala dinner with awards and entertainment. It's a quality event and includes a quality dinner and coffee, and whatever else we can add in before then. There'll be some speeches and award presentations and music. Bar facilities are next to the function area. The dinner is also the place to swap and share club merchandise and memorabilia.

We hope to see you there because this is the inaugural not-to-be-missed event for Australian vespisti and members of the World Club.

A Full Ticket includes the rally kit, access to all ride-outs, complimentary breakfast at the show and shine event on Saturday morning, access to the rides, and your meal and entertainment at the Gala Dinner. The VCoA is subsidizing our financial members from club funds and industry donation.

A Light Ticket includes everything except the Gala Dinner.

Hi Ants, yes early Friday morning is fine. There will be others who'll want to ride with us. Could you check out Gelibrand Cafe, Gelibrand St, Reservoir for me as a possible start point? It opens at 7 am. I need a coffee before we start. We could have a real breakfast stop in Broadford an hour later. Woohoo! David

    Hi David,

Friday morning is the ealiest I can leave. Thursday is not possible (Work)
If you are OK with an early Friday departure and day ride—we can leave fom my place in Reservoir (also If others want to join )
    Is that OK for you?

Hi Ants, glad you are onboard for this one. I am a little confused. I know Greg and Julie are going to ride up non-stop on Thursday to organise things. But I note that there are some ride outs on Friday afternoon. That means for those wanting to ride up slowly on Friday, they would miss out on the afternoon events unless we leave from Melbourne very early. I will probably ride up on Friday and very happy to go with you and anybody else who wants to take it slowly. The back road route is already planned. Our meeting point will probably be in Reservoir. Just a cheeky question, are you able to leave on the Thursday? David

All done! Tickets and accomodation (but it's going fast up there in 'The Wang' so get in now! We're staying at the Gardenview — just a bit out of town centre.
David— We'll be riding up on Friday — is this correct? We also have a support car if anyone wants to offload gear for the trip.
